Service Modules:

Signature Massage - An integration of different modalities and techniques to help alleviate tiredness, reduce muscle pain, joint stiffness and alleviate migraine.  The result is total relaxation, from head to toe.  It can be beneficial to people from many walks of life, everyone from homemakers to overstressed, over-travelled executives.  A bespoke combination of Swedish strokes, deep tissue and Chinese Acupressure & Tui Na, our Signature Massage responds to the different condition and needs of each part your body and work to the depth and duration it deserves.  You are disrobed only to your level of comfort and you will be covered by a towel or sheet, with only the area being worked on exposed.  Blended sweet almond or jojoba massage oil will be applied to lubricate and to nourish the skin.  Paired with a verbal assessment of the areas you want worked on, and the depth to which you enjoy massage.

Hot Stone Massage – Basalt stones heated to 50-60 degree celsius are used in two ways during the massage. One is to impart heat onto the body by laying stones along both sides of the spine, or along the Chakra centers to enhance the flow of energy. While these layout stones deliver concentrated centers of heat, the therapist simultaneously massaging the client with oiled, heated stones held in the palm of the hand with firm strokes along the muscles of the legs, arms, and torso areas. The heat from the stones relaxes muscles and increases the blood flow to the area being worked on and that accelerates the healing process. It is particularly effective in relieving pain associated with arthritis. The improved blood circulation also helps stimulates the flow of oxygen and nutrients helping your body to detoxify and heal. Complete relaxation of the muscles as a result also promotes mental relaxation. Stress, deadlines, anxiety, and other life annoyances disappear long enough for your mind to relax at the deepest level. As the warm stones relax the body, the mind is calmed retreating into a deep meditative state. In this meditative state your body becomes re-energized. The soothing heat therapy promotes a positive energy flow giving a sense of harmony and balance helping you to feel at peace.
Foot reflexology – Based on an ancient Chinese therapy, reflexology involves manipulation of specific reflex zones in the foot that correspond to different organs and parts of the body. Sometimes referred to as zone therapy, this bodywork involves application of pressure to these reflex zones to stimulate body organs and relieve areas of congestion. Similar to acupressure principles, reflexology works with the body's energy flow to stimulate self-healing and maintain balance in physical function. This technique is used to reduce pain, increase relaxation, and stimulate circulation of blood and lymphatic fluids. It is especially useful in stress-related illness and emotional disorders.   Every standard session of foot reflexology includes a soothing calf and knee massage.  A 90-min (or longer) session would include a neck & shoulder massage(seated).

Chinese Tui Na Therapeutic massage (clothed massage) –  Chinese Tui Na is the oldest known system of massage.  Originating in China, it is recorded in the Yellow Emperor's Classic of Internal Medicine since 2300 B.C. as one of the five major therapies of the time.  Tui Na has remained an organized and systematically developed system of massage since that time.  Tui Na uses the Traditional Chinese Medical theory of channels and collaterals and the flow of the Qi energy as its basic therapeutic orientation.  It seeks to establish a more harmonious Qi energy through the system of channels and collaterals, allowing the body to naturally heal itself.  Tui Na methods include the use of hand and arm techniques such as pressing, tapping, and kneading with palms, fingertips and knuckles to massage the soft tissue of the body, with direct stimulation of acupressure points to affect the flow of Qi energy through the Meridians.  Since no oil will be applied you may wear any loose clothing of your preference.

Swedish Massage – It is a vigorous system of treatment designed to energize the body by stimulating circulation. Five basic strokes, effleurage (sliding or gliding), petrissage (kneading), tapotement (rhythmic tapping), friction (cross fiber) are used to manipulate the soft tissues of the body.   You are disrobed only to your level of comfort and you will be covered by a towel or sheet, with only the area being worked on exposed.  Blended sweet almond or jojoba massage oil will be applied to lubricate and to nourish the skin.  The many benefits of Swedish massage include general relaxation, pain alleviation, reducing joint stiffness, dissolution of scar tissue adhesions, and improved circulation, which may speed healing and reduce swelling from injury.  The development of Swedish massage is credited to Per Henrik Ling, though the Dutch practitioner Johan Georg Mezger adopted the French names to denote the basic strokes.

Head, Neck, Shoulder & Back - Strain to the neck and shoulders can be caused by various factors including bad posture or sitting cramped over a desk for an extended period of time. The neck is a flexible structure that connects the brain to the rest of the body, and tension around this vital area of the body inevitably causes overall discomfort and slackness. This massage is focused on relieving the stress and stiffness in these areas. You will feel relaxed and your mobility renewed afterwards. The head massage uses deep tissue techniques to relieve the tension in the scalp. This is a recommended massage to help you relax just before you sleep in the evening.
Topical Massage for Muscle Relief  - Similar to the Neck, Shoulder & Back massage, this focuses on relieving muscle tensions and connective tissues on specific parts or muscle pieces of the body, such as the ankles, the calves, the upper legs(hamstrings), gluteus, arms and hands.  This is ideal if you feel stiffness only with certain parts of your body.

Deep Tissue Massage - It is similar to Swedish, but is deeper and more intense.  Incorporating also cross fiber friction, compression, and stretching to stimulate and relieve you from tired, tight and sore muscles.  Deep tissue massage is often recommended for individuals who experience consistent pain and muscle tightness, are involved in heavy physical activity, such as athletes and not for the massage novice.  Key benefits also include increased range of motion, increased blood circulation and increased flexibility.

Lymph Drainage - The lymphatic system is an essential drainage system for your body to cleanse and filter out toxins and bacteria. Using lymphatic drainage techniques to improve the lymph flow, it is designed to improve the lymph flow so that your body can better remove harmful substances.   With a unique therapeutic technique using rhythmic pumping movements, the process promotes movement of stagnant lymphatic fluids around the body to improve health. This therapy is decongestive and reduces excessive amounts of fluid the body may contain and is designed to leave you feeling energized, stress free and healthy.
Pre & Post-Natal Massage - We have a small but dedicated team of female therapists to provide pre & post-natal massage at the privacy and convenience of your own home.  You may start your pre-natal massage after the first trimester.  As your body is going through physical and hormonal changes, massages performed during pregnancy can reduce anxiety, decrease symptoms of depression, relieve muscle aches and joint pains, decrease swelling in the arms and legs and improve labor outcomes and newborn health.  With the comforting touch it also provides emotional support during pregnancy.  Post-natal massage can be done immediately after discharge if your delivery is natural.  If yours is a caesarian delivery, you shall wait for at least 2 weeks after delivery or when incision is properly healed.  Post-natal massage brings body back to its pre-pregnancy condition by retaining muscles and connective tissue.  It also helps to realign the body weight to its original distribution, helps reinstate the uterus to its normal state, eliminates excess body fluids and tones the over stretched areas of skin especially over the abdomen.  Benefits of post-natal massage also include relaxation, relief mother of tension and stress from everyday activities and mothering duties.  It also relieves aches on shoulders, neck, arms and wrists from carrying or feeding your newborn.
Aromatherapy Massage We apply a blend of essential oils(extracted from herbs, flowers, resin, woods, and roots) to create harmony, heal, and balance all aspects of a person from mental to physical to emotional to spiritual.   Used as a healing technique for thousands of years by the Egyptians, Greeks, and Romans, essential oils aid in relaxation, improve circulation, and help the healing of wounds.  Aromatherapy diffusers are utilized to fill the massage room with the scent of the oils. Specific essential oils are blended and added to a light carrier oil, such as grape seed or virgin olive oil, to be used during the massage.  The therapist brings an array of organic, steam-extracted, essential oils for you to select from. Let your inner nose lead you to the scent that is most enticing.   This is an ideal massage if you want great relaxation from a stressful day designed to rejuvenate and rebalance both your body and mind.

Corporate Chair Massage - ARE YOU AND YOUR EMPLOYEES OVER STRESSED IN THE WORKPLACE?  Slouching at a desk for prolonged periods often results in lower back pain, shoulder and neck pain and headaches.  Repetitive motion injuries, such as carpal tunnel syndrome, are common among office workers.  A 10 to 20 minute “stress buster” massage relives migraine and tension in neck, back, and shoulder muscles, reducing mental as well as physical irritability and increasing productivity.   This massage can be performed in the convenience of your office or workplace. Your employees will be seated upright on chair and will remain fully clothed.  No oils are used, so there is no need for them to be concerned with stains on clothing. The session generally lasts from 10-20 minutes per person.  Chair massage is typically more vigorous, therefore is stimulating while still being relaxing.  We will send one therapist for every 2-hour session and, you determine the number of people to be rejuvenated by massage within the time frame booked.  Minimum booking is 2 hours.
