About the Therapists
87 member therapists joined our guild as of 30th Sept 2010.  Our member therapists are divided into 5 units, stationed at all CBD's and major constituents in the city for speedy maneuvre and appointment fulfilment. Below are the bio of some of our founding therapists.


Somjan Thumphorn - Master therapist

Madam Somjan - MoMa HK is honored to have Madam Somjan joining the team. Madam Somjan had been chief therapist and guest consulting therapist for various renowned massage establishments in Bongkok and Hong Kong. Being one of the most outstanding apprentices of the late legendary Thai massage guru Prof. Sinthorn Chaichakan, Madam Somjan has received numerous acclaims from clients both in Bangkok and Hong Kong throughout the years of her practisce. Madam Somjan��s specialties include topical trigger-point works developed by Prof. Sinthorn Chaichakan, Chinese acu-point massage modules that focus on vital meridian lines, as well as the most original form of Thai style massage. Madam Somjan always use these methods in combination with deep tissue techniques developed and tested by herself over the years and has since become the signature bodywork that have set her a cut above others and make her one of the best massage therapists within the profession. Madam Somjan is equally well-versed in other disciplines include Swedish, Reflexology, Prenatal/Post natal, Sports and manual lymphatic drainage. Madam Somjan resides in Hong Kong and is a professional massage therapist certified by the Thai Ministry of Education & Thai Ministry of Public Health. Since her return to Hong Kong in 2001 she has guest instructed dozens of local massage therapists who are now practicing in various notable massage establishments and spas in Hong Kong.

Fanny Lai

Fanny Lai started her career as an apprentice and spent 4 years in the renowned Modern Beauty Aesthetics & Spa where she developed a multitude of massage skills: relaxation & aesthetic massage, manicure and pedicure and hair styling.  After that Fanny returned to Guangxi Province, China, her hometown, for family reason.  With a passion in the art of massage therapy that had never faded away, Fanny eventually returned to Hong Kong in 2009 and has since been practicing in various massage and spa establishments as senior therapist.  With a reputation built among her clientele, she has become an independent therapist focusing on outcall service since 2011. Fanny holds a certified level two massage therapist by the China National Labour Bureau since 1999.

Karen Leung

Karen Leung chose to work in massage because she experienced the benefits first-hand while she was an amateur dancer. Karen has a great understanding of the body from this. She enjoys being able to help people work through recovery and also educate them about their bodies. Karen believes that we can help people heal themselves. Her areas of expertise are sports massage and relaxation massage.  Karen's background in dance ranges from ballet to Classic Chinese to Salsa. She frequently competed as amateur dancer in various contest in her neighborhood community. It was during this time that she discovered the benefits of massage. Through these experiences Karen understands how to support other people through the art of touch and also how to help them heal from & prevent injuries.  Prior to joining MoMa Karen has been practicing massage therapy in various renowned therapeutic massage establishments for over 3 years.

Jammie Chow

Jammie Chow has been in the healing profession since 2006. She is an honors graduate of Tui Na Chinese medical massage from the Zhengzhou Municipal Vocational Institute and has over one thousand hours of hands-on experience.  She is an amateur Jazz dancer and understands the profound effects of caring for mind and body. Specializing in injury work, she is also well-versed in sports massage and foot reflexology.  In 2009 Jammie left her hometown Zhengzhou and came to Hong Kong to take care of her elder mother.  Since then she has been working in Taikyoku Massage Parlor as resident therapist. In order to spend more time with family Jammie has become an independent massage therapist since 2010. She joined MoMa Hong Kong Mobile Massage in April 2010. Jammie is a certified level two massage therapist by the China National Labour Bureau since 2007.

Yung Yong

Yung Yong has an in-born passion in caring for other people. She started her career as a nursing assistant in the Occupational Therapy Department of Yi Xian Hospital, Shanghai. During her tenure with the hospital she was among the few who were enlisted in the then newly established Naturopathy Department as trainee of Tui Na Massage Therapy. After 6 months intensive training followed by another one and a half year of service as massage therapist in the hospital Yung Yong was head-hunted by the Shanghai Gran Melia Hotel as resident massage therapist at the YHI Spa. With a flair in the art of massage and solid foundation built at the hospital it didn�t take her much effort to expand her skill set to spa-oriented modules such as Swedish, Balinese and hot-stone, to name a few. Yung Yong came to Hong Kong in 2007 and since then she has been working in various Spa including the award-winning Sense of Touch. She became an independent massage therapist since 2009 and she joined MoMa Hong Kong Mobile Massage in March 2010. Yung Yong is a certified level three massage therapist by the China National Labour Bureau since 2006.

Apple Lai

Apple Lai understands what it takes to satisfy the most fastidious you. Her spectacular breadth of skills range from deep tissue massage to shanghai-style pedicure to back-stepping. Started off as a hair salon apprentice some 9 years ago Apple has throughout the years set up and run her own hair salons and foot reflexology establishments. During her most glorious time Apple operated 3 foot reflexology centers located among the busiest districts. Now as a mother of 2 she has not forgotten the joy of caring people with her magic hands. Apple is currently a part-time massage therapist with MoMa Hong Kong Mobile Massage. She is a certified level three massage therapist by the China National Labour Bureau since 2005.

Macy Wun

Macy Wun prides herself on her ability to care and listen to the needs of others. She is well versed in Chinese Tui Na, Swedish, hot-stone & pre/post natal. She believes in tailoring a massage towards the individual needs of each client by using multiple modalities to get the best results possible. Macy graduated from the Farida Bodywork and Beauty Education Centre in 2004, completing a 500-hour program to become a certificated Massage Therapist. In 2005, she opened her small business, Seren-city Massage Parlour, in Jordan. There she worked with many people from infants to the elderly. Some of the common problems she worked on with her clients were headaches, muscle tension, sports injuries, and fibromyalgia. With her nurturing touch, she has had thousands of happy, satisfied clients over the years, many of whom she still keeps in touch with to this day. Macy sold her business to fellow therapists in 2008 and has since become a full-time mother. She joined MoMa HK Mobile Massage in May 2009 as part-time therapist. She is looking forward to developing the same happy relationships she had with her clients in Seren-city here in MoMa.

Saipin Wichaiya

Saipin Wichaiya is a native Thai with more than a decade of experience. Saipin is enthusiastic about sharing her passion for Thai massage with people here in Hong Kong. Saipin began practicing the Art of Thai massage at the Old Medicine Hospital in Chiang Mai Thailand since 2006. From there, Saipin continued to the Hapa Spa in Sukhumvit, Bangkok as massage therapist. She relocated in Hong Kong in 2009 to join her sister. Saipin has been the resident Thai massage therapist with Pure Massage in Whampoa Gardens since 2009 and is currently a part-time therapist with MoMa Hong Kong Mobile Massage.
